My name is Carlijn van der Leede. I am a 22-year-old artist from the Netherlands. 

I love to illustrate and interpret the term broadly. To me collage, photography, 3D-art etc. are also ways to illustrate.

The welfare of people, animals, and nature play an important role within my work.  

As an artist I think it is important to reflect on society and raise awareness about social problems.

 

One of the best things about being an illustrative designer is that you  get to visualize ideas and have a nice variety of work.

My work itself is quite diverse and it can vary from critical art to book illustration or personalized paintings.
